BRIEF INFORMATION
Seva Bharati Trust is running number of service activities. Amoolya (P) Special Child Adoption Organization at Gadag is one among them. Our Trust has been established in the year 1999 and recognized by Government of Karnataka. The trust is having faith in” SEVA HI PARAMO DHARMAHA”. A committee has been formed in Gadag city, in the year 2013 and since then 24 children have been given in adoption to eligible couples from Kerala, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, America and Italy. The child adoption process is being adhered to as per Government guidelines. In our society there are so many children less people living painfully without having children, on one side the other side children are being abounded and left on streets, for one or the other reasons (Child birth due to illicit relations / outside marriage etc.). Children are also on streets due to poverty. Our trust is arranging for maintenances and growth of such children at Gadag center. The centre is giving these children in adoption to the needy and eligible couple as per law of the land. So far 24 such children have been given to the needy and eligible couples.
We have arrangements of maintaining the children of age from day 1 up to 6 years. It is not an easy task to look after these children. We have to take care of them all the 24 hours of the day regarding food, health, safety, etc. Even then our efforts cannot be equal to parent’s love. These children can get parents love from adopted parents. To get needy and eligible couple and to provide parental love to these children is our desire and responsibility.
On 01.08.2015 the Government of India Central Adoption Resource Authority (CARA) has implemented new norms in the administration of child adoption. Under new norms, needy couple have to register their names on line and full fill the required information. These norms are being followed to avoid partiality, corruption, child trafficking and injustice to parents and children. The couple, who wish to adopt a child, have to submit application online on web site cara.nic.in. The terms and conditions are also available on this web site. Once the application is uploaded, the parent guardian will get a registered number. They can also observe their status (waiting list) on line. The parent guardian will get message on their registered mobile as and when their turn comes. Photographs of 3 children of their wished age will be exhibited on line. Information regarding name of the organization place etc., will be informed to the parent guardian after their selection. The parent guardian can visit the organization and observe the child personally. Medical examination of the child is being done if they wish for. The child will be handed over to the parent guardian after their full satisfaction and obtaining consent from them. This is being called as Pre-Adoption Foster Care.
The child adoption process will be regularized after development of good relations between the child and parent guardian and submission of an application at District Court. To complete all these, we have to pass through children specialists, Children Welfare Committee, District Children Protection Branch, District Registrar, Birth and Death Registrar etc.
We have to maintain good relations with all these departments. Though this is a difficult task, we are having satisfaction of adhering to proceres . The parent guardians who have adopted a child have also informed us that they are leading a new satisfied life. “THERE IS A NEW RELATION WITH A FAMILY WHEN RENDERING EACH CHILD ON ADOPTION. THERE IS SATISFACTION OF PROVIDING CHILDREN TO THOSE WHO ARE NOT HAVING CHILDREN ON ONE SIDE AND SATISFACTION OF GIVING A NEW LIFE TO THE ORPHEN CHILDREN ON TOHER SIDE”. During Adoption function various departmental heads of the Government have mentioned appreciation and satisfaction. Our center is a model to others as Karnataka Government departments advising them to follow what is being done at our center. A number of Swamijis have also visited our center and expressed their happiness about caring the orphan children. All these have enhanced image of our center in the society.
