Introduction of Aruna Chetana
Seva Bharati team comprising of members from all walks of life and professions planned to start a school at Mudhol for special children, having various disabilities like Mental Retardation, Cerebral Palsy, Auto Immune and Multiple Disabilities etc. Aruna Chetana Special School a project of Seva Bharati has commenced its activities in the year 2011 with the help of society. Initially there were only 15 students in the school. Gradually the strength of the students went on increasing day by day. The Institute has made its name in social activities around the area. Presently in our Aruna Chetana School we are providing training to 30 such students and about 65 parents having such special children are approaching us for counselling and specific guidelines.
Objectives
- To provide a free appropriate educational program necessary, related service for each child with a disability requiring special education.
- To provide medical facilities to each child.
- To provide Special therapy activities to children.

- Imparting practical education to train the special children for self-development.
- To train the special children to carry out their routine work on their own.
- Providing training to improve their mental as well as physical capabilities such as, - Physiotherapy centre with modern equipments. - Visual in put room to uplift their responding capacity, Electromagnetic therapy to improve system from abnormal to normal - Regular counselling specialities to the parents by sports doctors, psychiatrists and physiotherapists etc...
