The real concept of Bharat is possible only when everyone thinks that he/she too is responsible for everything that happens in our society. Inspiring thoughts, life, and mission of several great social thinkers, reformers, service service-minded persons have been the beacon light for us.“Seva Hi Paramo Dharmaha” (Service is the highest Duty) is our motto. Seva Bharati Trust was founded with the sole and solemn object of social service with a firm belief in the maxim “Deena –Dalita – Dukhi Devo Bhava” (Service to the weak, the downtrodden and the suffering masses itself is the worship of God). Seva Bharati Trust is a Social Organization established in Hubballi in the year 1999 to render service to downtrodden and deprived people. Seva Bharati is also a social movement, with several other activities like arranging lecture series for awakening national consciousness, Blood Bank, Family Counselling Free Medicare Centers, especially for rural and socially economically backward masses, Shishu Mandirs, Schools, etc. Now Seva Bharati has extended its various projects throughout Northern Karnataka. A glance of all such projects is as under. All-around welfare of the society is based upon an opportunity for equal accession of basic amenities like Food, Shelter, Clothing, Medicine, and Education. Then only a full-fledged civil life can be achieved. With such a holistic approach at the national level Rashtriya Seva Bharati, (National Service Mission) has come into existence with a yeoman service to seek amelioration of people belonging to the socially, and economically deprived. Up till now throughout the nation, there are as many as 1,35,000 such service projects under operation. In the northern part of Karnataka under the banner of Seva Bharati Trust Hubballi, such humanistic and social reconstructive activities are being conducted.
