About Jagruti Mahila Swavalambana Kendra
Mahila Swavalambana Kendra Belagavi, was inaugurated on the auspicious day of Vijayadashami in the month of September 2009. Jagruti Mahila swavalambana Kendra Belagavi is doing yeomen services to the society in general and to the poor, needy, widows, and slum dwellers orphans etc. Helping Despondent women in particular to be economically independent and self-supportive and lead a very dignified life The Kendra conducts programs to create social, educational, health and patriotism awareness. To maintain the traditions of the area and culture, the Kendra conducts various religious programmes

Kendra conducts some competitions to promote the women’s like Rangoli competition, panting competition, Bhakti song singing and Dandiya for women during navaratri festivals, add colour to womenfolk and make them aware of our traditions and culture, go in a long way for creation of a healthy and vibrant socity. There is no decimation in cast, creed, religion, language or region whatever. The kandra strives to assist women to be monthly ansd financially strong and independent, live honourably in the society without fear. Swavalambana, Samskar, Sangatana, and parivartana are the guiding spirit of the Kendra and it is striving very hard to bring about the change in the society it is not the destination butonly ajourny to be with pooer needy, and helpless women in their endeavour to live a dignified and economically independent life.
