About Dayashankar chatralaya
It was started to provide free education for socially and economically backward children of the society without any discrimination of caste and creed. The main object of the project is to upgrade the deprived children. In our society so many people are socially and economically backward and at the same time their children locked culture, morality and refinement. Without the knowledge of the beautiful future life and importance of education many children are not getting proper education. Sometime poverty made them to engage in a dangerous labour works In this regard to provide proper education, culture, and moral support to Orphaned children this project was introduced in the year 2015 in Hanagal city in the name of “Dayashankar Chatralaya” Now 20 children are studing in this project. Total 150 children have been given sgelter and education since 2015. For this project a local committee was organised to proper service and work President, vice-president, secretary, treasurer and members are working in this committee
Facilities provided to children
Seva Bharati Trust provides standard food-shelter- and clothing and they are pursuing their studies in various schools. The services of Guruji (warden) and cooks are permanently available to the Children. A busy and scientific schedule has been designed for them covering their physical, moral and educational activities.
- Boarding Facilities: Spacious, well-furnished room are used for boarding purposes. Every child is provided with a bed, bed sheets, cupboard and all other items necessary according to weather. Similarly, two sets of uniform, towels, tooth brush, soap and other necessary items of daily use are provided to every child.
- Health Care : Seva Bharati Trust has established a network of various volunteer Specialist Doctors, Medical Officers and paramedics who make themselves available as and when needed basis. The doctors and other personnel in this community network provide free medicine for our children.
- Regular Education : Matru Chaya Bala Kalyana Children are provided modern education from class Nursery to higher education. Computer training is offered from class two onwards. It is hoped that after the completion of their education these children will get good jobs and will be able to earn an honourable living for their families.
- Co-Curricular Activities : In order to inculcate confidence and broaden their outlook, the children are given opportunities to participate in various functions held by RSS and also Seva Bharati Trust and its surrounding areas. These include Quiz, Prayer, National songs, skit, Dance, Bharatanatya, Sports competitions and declamation contests. Children are also sent into various personality development camps and other extra-curricular events.
